Extension Issues
Use this checklist when the Chrome, Edge, or Firefox extension cannot save to Marqly.
Extension is not visible
- Confirm the extension is installed.
- Pin it to the browser toolbar.
- Check whether it is disabled in the browser extension manager.
- Reinstall from the official store link in the Marqly Install menu.
Extension asks you to sign in
Sign in to Marqly in the same browser profile. If you use multiple browser profiles, install and sign in separately in each profile.
Save fails
- Refresh the page you are saving.
- Confirm the URL starts with http or https.
- Try saving a different public page.
- Sign out and back in to Marqly.
- Reinstall the extension if permissions look stale.
Private windows
Firefox and Chromium browsers can require separate permission before an extension works in private/incognito windows.
Safari
For Safari on iPhone and iPad, use the iOS app. The web app install menu does not currently include a separate Mac Safari extension link. See Safari and iOS Guidance.
