Add Bookmark

Use Add Bookmark when you want to save a new link to Marqly.

Add a bookmark manually​

  1. Select Add Bookmark in the header.
  2. Paste the link into URL.
  3. Review or enter Title.
  4. Choose a Board.
  5. Add Tags if they will help you find the Bookmark later.
  6. Add a Note if needed.
  7. Select Create Bookmark.

Marqly accepts valid http and https URLs.

Use Add with AI​

Pro and Business users can select Add with AI in the add flow. Depending on your settings, AI can suggest a Board, suggest Tags, and help summarize the saved content.

AI add behavior is controlled in Settings > Behavior under AI Assistance When Adding Bookmarks.

  • Off keeps the flow fully manual.
  • Basic suggests existing Boards and Tags.
  • Full can suggest existing Boards and Tags and can create new Boards.

The Auto-add bookmark toggle is available only when the automation level is Full.

Field limits​

  • URL is required, must be valid, and can be up to 2,048 characters.
  • Title can be up to 255 characters.
  • Note can be up to 2,000 characters.
  • Each Tag can be up to 32 characters.
  • A Bookmark can have up to 30 Tags.

If the URL is already in your library, Marqly shows Bookmark already exists.

Create a Board while adding​

If the right Board does not exist yet, use the Board picker to choose Create new board. Enter Board Name, choose a Board Icon if needed, then continue saving the Bookmark.
