Safari and iOS Guidance

Safari support depends on the device you are using.

iPhone and iPad

Install Marqly from the iOS App Store. The iOS app is the supported path for Safari-side saving on iPhone and iPad.

If the Marqly action does not appear in Safari or the iOS share sheet, open the Marqly iOS app once, confirm you are signed in, then check the share sheet customization options in iOS.

Mac Safari

The Marqly web app install menu does not currently include a separate Mac Safari extension link. On Mac Safari, use the web app and import flow.

1. Open Marqly in Safari.
2. Sign in.
3. Use Add Bookmark to save links manually.
4. Paste the current page URL into URL.
5. Choose a Board and Tags, then select Create Bookmark.

Import Safari bookmarks

1. In Safari, export your bookmarks to an HTML file.
2. Open Marqly.
3. Open the profile/sidebar menu.
4. Select Import.
5. Choose Safari as the source and upload the exported HTML file.
