Preview and Reader

The Bookmark view sheet helps you inspect saved links without losing your place in Marqly.

Preview​

Preview shows the saved page when Marqly can load it. Some sites block embeds or previews. If that happens, use Open in New Tab.

Reader​

Reader extracts readable article content when available. It is best for articles, essays, documentation, and blog posts.

Reader may not appear for:

  • Video pages.
  • Login-only pages.
  • Pages that block extraction.
  • Pages with little readable text.

Use Copy Reader Content when you need to copy the cleaned-up text.

Offline​

When a Bookmark is saved offline, the tab label can show Offline. Offline cache is device-specific and available for Pro users.

Use Save Offline in the Bookmark view sheet to cache a supported page on the current device. Use Remove from offline cache to free storage for that item.

Tips​

  • Use Reader for focused reading.
  • Use Notes to record why you saved the page.
  • Use Highlights for important passages.
  • Use AI Summary when you need a concise version of long content.
