Password Protection

Use Password Protected sharing when you want a public Board link but only want visitors with the password to view it.

Add a password

1. Open the Board menu.
2. Select Share.
3. Choose Password Protected.
4. Enter a password.
5. Save changes.
6. Copy the share link.

Visitor experience

Visitors see a Password Required dialog. They enter the password and select Verify.

After verification, access is remembered in that browser session.

Change or remove the password

1. Open Share for the Board.
2. Update the password or switch access to Public Link or Private.
3. Save changes.

warning

Anyone with the link and password can view the Board. Do not use shared Boards for private secrets or sensitive account data.
